I have a 90 gallon tank and had wavemaker with 4 coralife powerheads attached. When I added a small bubble tip anenome to the tank it soon found a way into one of the power heads. I then removed the wavemaker and powerheads. I the anenome with a larger bubble tip that is doing well. I would like to replace the power heads as they provided great water movement, however I am wary and dont want to lose another anenome. Any suggestions with this?

I started to make covers from filter media bags. This became a problem as the bags became over grown and started to fill in. Guess if I want the circulation I need to clean the bags often.

Yeah, you'll have to clean them often no matter what you use.

Only other option is cut down on flow until he settles in to a spot, then slowly add flow back to verify he's not going to move as you add another powerhead.

I like that idea. I am going to put in 1 power head today, and keep it coverd, see what happens. I really need to get better water movement. thanks for your input.
