Water circulation

I know I should probably have this figured out by now but can anybody help me with where the best places to put my circulation pumps. I have a standard 55 gallon tank (48x12x24 I think). I attached a pic of my rock layout which will probably change as I add more. But I just need a good start. I have maxijet450s right now but I am getting a hydor 1150 set soon. Thanks for any input.

Looks like hang on the back equipment? So that moves a little water too. I would put one on each side a little lower then you have. Maybe midway down, and face them toward the water surface.
 
One at each end...or one on end plate glass and other on back glass making a good circulated flow..

As mention above...at different levels too.
