Water Clarifier and Tangs

Hi Randy and friends,

I had a pbt die a few weeks ago and now my purple tang is showing the same issues.

I am trying to pinpoint the issue and think it maybe the water clarifier.

The symptoms include rapid movement of the gills, disorientation, laying on it sides and fatality.

Could water clarifiers be causing a similar phenomenon to Lanthanum Chloride where the particles are clogging up their gills?

I just installed a poly fiber reactor to filter out as much as possible.
