Water Cloudy After New Live Rock and Rockscaping

Added a large new live rock into my tank a few days ago and rearranged my rockscape/coral placement, and my water has been cloudy for the better part of a day now, and it looks like a lot of coral are spitting long threads of that clear mucusy stuff. Nothing looks like it's crashing or dying, but things are noticeably withdrawn and have been today. I'm just curious if adding a new live rock can do this to a tank. I got it from a very reputable place and it's a very established rock, very very purple. Just did about a 20-25% water change and not too much of a difference. It seems like it will pass, I hope. Any thoughts on what this could be?.

Yea, it'll be fine. Are you running carbon? How much did you add? Probably stirred up a little detritus too.

I have a carbon filter in my media tray as well as a nitrate filter and another purigen bag... if that's what you meant. Did you mean add a carbon supplement to the water? Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean.

No carbon supplement. That may actually make the bloom worse. @pugcrush was referring to GAC which is what you have in your media tray. How old is the carbon? You might want to change it out with a fresh batch
