Red sea reefer 250, current stock
1 clown
1 kole tang
1 6line wrasse
2 bengai Cardinals
1 orchid dotty back

I'm looking to add a couple fish that are out and about more, things that will be in the water column!

I can't really do wrasse as I have a bare bottom tank, can't do dwarf angles as I have a clam.

Basically it seems like firefish, chromis and anthias are my options..

Any others?

Don't really want a second clown, I had to get rid of my last one for nipping the clam (weird I know. Saw it happen over 3 days before I pulled him)

I recently picked up some Dispar Anthias and they are always out and about. Wonderful fish.

@eatbreakfast always has good suggestions on these

Firefish don't really do well as groups. Dispar anthias are a good suggestion, and chalk bass can be kept in small groups as well.

The Midas blenny is a nice, active fish. So are tilefish.

I'd suggest fairy or flasher wrasses, but the presence of an established six-line gives me pause.

I'd also suggest a group of dartfish; zebra-bar, scissortail or blue gudgeon, according to your preference.

Thanks all, will look into getting a Midas!

Was hoping to avoid anthias, i am often gone for a weekend or 3 days at a time where the tank doesnt get fed. With the fish i have now that is okay, but not sure that anthias would survive weekends away since they usually need to be fed multiple times a day.
