Hello new to salt water aquariums. Will this container be safe to store filter water?

Being that its manufacturered for water softeners and water treatment I would say it should be ok to use. Lets get more eyes on it to verify #reefsquad

Thanks for the link. I should have mention that physical size is limited. It has to go in a closet. I have no basement. That's why I picked the 11" x 11" to use as my top off container. I have to find out how big of a water change I should do on a 69 g tank. I'm thinking 20 gallons for my salt water. I'm looking at this one. http://www.tank-depot.com/productdetails.aspx?part=A-VT0020-16
