Any recommendations for a powerhead or pump to circulate water in my sump? Total sump volume is approximately 30 gallons. Want to keep my chaeto moving in my refugium section and keep detritus suspended for my protein skimmer to grab. Also getting some hair algae build up which I’d like to avoid. Thanks!

If you have too much circulation in your sump keeping your detritus suspended, wouldn't a chunk of your detritus just make its way back into the display tank? Unless you have a bare bottom display tank that would send the detritus back into the sump?

Idea is to keep it suspended so it makes it to the filter socks. Even with filter socks I still get detritus in my sump especially since running BB

Koralia nano 425. Cheap, small, reliable. I've got one in each sump chamber and have no build up.

I just use a maxijet 1200 I Have it in my refugium with a t fitting on it pumping half the Output water to my skimmer chamber and half in the refugium it works remarkably well and it’s a cheap reliable pump Another reason I chose this set up is because my refugium is where the biggest build up of detritus was so now it’s getting stirred and the pump is sucking it back up and pushing it back to the skimmer to collect it
