I purchased the MaxSpect Gyre XF150 and it finally arrived today. I have been playing with it a little bit, and love all of the different settings it has. However, what would be the best setup that closely mimics natural ocean currents? Are they stronger at night than during the day? Etc...

I found that I run my 130's at constant %50. Once I scrape together some funds, I will get the ice cap controller modules and hook them ups to my apex. At that point I will slow them down to 20% at night like I do with my mp-40

Nice please let me know how what you think about it after a week I ha e been thinking of getting one

I run mine in the pulse mode as well. For my two tanks I own two 130s and one 150 and will probably pick up another 150.

There are a couple of guys over here that run two 130's vertically, one in each back corner creating random flow very successfully.
