Water leak behind internal overflow!!! Help

Hey guys just recently set up this 20 gallon long, I purchased a Fiji cube internal overflow aio kit… I silicones the box on to the side glass with a thick bead of silicone on all back side. I wake up today and notice a small water level in the middle of the glass and overflow box possible leak through the silicone I added now there is no issues with tank overflowing if power goes out but will this have an impact on the health and progression of the tank if I leave it as is. Please help anything is greatly appreciated.

I can't see it causing any issues. It's just a sliver of water. Even if it filled right up it would just be done and over with. Going to be a nice little setup.

As long as you’ve used the proper silicon, should be ok, I reckon.

I see you are using a glass heater. It needs to stay submerged to prevent the heater glass from breaking.
edit. maybe I am wrong, just in case.

I’ve heard of these exploding from not being in water too, hoping it won’t happen as long as I remember to unplug

I’m guessing you mean anti mold…. No it was not the one containing anti mold chemicals

After water change today water level between the glass and box went up again
