I recently set up my first tank. Biocube 32. First off thanks to anyone who has helped me so far! I think I may have filled my tank up incorrectly or too high. When I see pics of other people's biocube filtration. The water seems to flow from chamber one over and into chamber two and chamber three typically has lower water levels. My water level is the same throughout the back chambers and display tank. Here are some pics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just siphon some water out until it flows from chamber to chamber leaving enough water in the pump section so it’s not pulling air into the pump section.

Mine does the same thing. I found mine is leaking water from chamber one into the next chamber. So instead of all the water overflowing, it’s a completely open system which means the water level is going to even out. I don’t know if that’s intentional. I think it’s either a design flaw or a broken seal somewhere back there. I just accept it because I suppose a majority of the water is going over the top and down through the pads. But my biocube 29 doesnt have this same problem.

Just remove some water, the level in the last chamber will go down.

remove just enough to have a slight drop, you don’t what to hear water falling.

remember if you have a dc pump and change the setting that will change the level in the last chamber, if you were to slow it down, that rises the level, more power to the return and the level will lower.

Yeah it's weird I feel like even if I lower the water level that it's going to be even all the way through. I'm going to try it.

Yup if you lower the display level and all three chambers fall then it’s just not completely sealed from chamber one to the rest. Easy test.

forgot the key word there - not. If the levels are the same then it’s not sealed.
