What would cause the water level to not be level when the tank is 100% level? Like one side being slightly lower than the other side? 6 foot tank.

Could it be that I have 1 return line on the side that has the higher water line?

You can see see water line at my overflow box is not level
In the absence of flow from either wave makers or return lines, either the stand is not 100% level or the overflow itself is not level if the water does not appear level. How did you confirm the stand/tank are level? Did you check level on the overflow? Is there any other way you think the water is not level other than viewing on the weir of the overflow?

I'm confident that the water itself is level to the ground due to gravity.

Maybe it's not 100% level ..is this a big deal?

I doubt that is a big deal since it is quite close to level, but I can't answer for sure. Is your tank rimmed or rimless?
Obviously, perfectly level is better, but I think stresses should still be pretty low with it that close to level.

3/4" low iron glass rimless

I've only had standard rimmed tanks like Marineland or Aqueon, so I have no experience with rimless tanks. I think I've read that risk is higher with a rimless tank that is not level than for a rimmed tank, but I still don't know how far off it needs to be to be an issue though yours does not look far from level and is probably fine.

Use a long level on every side of the tank. Do you have any HOB equipment?

I added an HOB fuge to my old tank which pulled it so far out of level it started leaking and I had to tear everything down and buy a new aquarium.

I've never tried to shim something as heavy as a full aquarium, but if you find that it truly is out of level, find the cause. If it's too much weight on one side, redistribute. If it's the tank or stand, drain that sucker, and shim to perfection.

Your overflow box looked a tiny bit unlevel to me, just by eye— if so, it might be causing a minor optical illusion as to your water line. Functionally, I don’t see how it would make much of a difference.
