How do I get rid of this ugly water line residue

Looking to break down and restart as frag grow out tank

vinegar and a magic eraser (plain/original one with no cleaners in it)

If you broke down the tank, white vinegar will remove it.

Bar Keepers Friend: Use a small amount of water to make a paste, for a toothbrush and/or a cloth, and a little elbow-grease. Rinse tank well afterwards with water. Probably available at many local stores near you. Best wishes.

If the tank is glass and still running, a brand new razor blade will get it right off. Just be careful near the silicone. It will slice right through it.

running and glass equal razor blade and patience. Empty is vinegar and water mix with pump for water movement.
