Hi. I have a Red Sea Reefer that is cycled with a few fish.

Skimmer is working well and water parameters are nearly all in line.

I have read that Carbon Reactor unit is good to help get rid of additional waste and increased water clarity?

What are some of the best methods to achieve this?

Thanks for your advice?

You can use a carbon reactor, but I just use Red Sea Activated carbon in a flow area in media bags and change them around every 4 weeks.

It will help with water quality and this will tell you all about it, but there are of course other manufacturers etc.

I have a reefer 350 and use activated charcoal in a media bag in one of the collecting cups. I am thinking in changing to a carbon reactor since I have an Avast Marine spyglass ready to go.
