Water mixing station design

Can you all take a look at this. It’s been sitting partially complete for over 2 years now and I’m finally getting around to finishing. I’m trying to work with what I have to finish it without spending to much more. The original plan was to use an external pump but my spare pump is a jecod dct-7000 and I cant find fittings to make it external. So new plan is to run it internal. The top valve with the blue drawn in line will have a hose attached for filling ATO jugs. The bottom most bulkhead will be attached to the output of the internal pump. The red drawn in line will have another t fitting and valve with a hose for pumping out mixed saltwater. When it’s closed it will be directed back in the top for circulation. Does this look like it will work ok?

Not an expert, but it looks a bit complex and prone to human error if you're not careful. If I understand your description, the pipe between the upper and lower brute containers will share both fresh RO/DI water from above and salt water from below. I don't see how you prevent the wrong type of water from going the wrong way. You will need a few more valves and then make sure everything is set correctly each time you use it, or something is going the wrong way.

In my opinion, you can get an inexpensive pump that just sits in the lower container are circulates the salt water inside the container without using the external piping. Then, all you need is to cap on the lower end of the T that is currently open, put a valve on the lowest bulkhead and run piping from the lower bulkhead to the tank or sump. Fresh water feeds the lower container by gravity, you add salt and turn on circulating pump in lower container. Then when salt water is ready, you open valve and turn on existing jecod dct-7000 to move the salt water where you need it.
 
Thanks, that idea crossed my mind as well. It would be more simple that way for sure just require two pumps. But I have not ruled it out.
 
It’s hard to see but in the pic there is another valve top right that would isolate the top RO water from the bottom mixes water. I would just have to remember to turn the pump off when I open it lol
 
Completed, tested and leak free :)

Clear hoses on the sides tell me the water level.

Valve 1 provides gravity fed RO water from the 40 gallon Brute for top off jugs.

Valve 2 stays closed until I need to fill the 30 gallon Brute to mix salt water.

Valve 3 turns out is not needed. The idea was to close it when I need to open valve 4 to fill mixed salt buckets but Valve 4 pumps out when 3 is open and closed.

The Valve 3 and 4 circuit continuously circulates mixing the water inside the can.

It looks good. I would of used some union ball valves though. Those have a tendency to stick over time from my experience, but that personal preference I guess

This was pretty much thrown together with what I had on hand. I wanted the union ball valves but they where $15 each so I went the cheap route. The way its setup will work but its not ideal so I am going to use it till it fails and start collecting parts like an external pump and union valves to re build down the road.
