Mine
I have it plumped to pump the new water right to the tank once it's been heated and mixed.

Wow, a lot of people have mixing stations, keep em coming everyone!

Heres mine. I just finished it up a few nights ago. Going to leak test it tomorrow. I am preying for no leaks.:squigglemouth:
Excuse the messy floor.

Mine is similar to the above but with an added bonus: I have a 150G vertical tank plumbed to the manifold off the return which drains back into the sump. When it's time for a water exchange, I close the valve off the manifold which feeds this 150G vertical tank, open a 2nd valve to a drain, and then fill it with FW. I have an external pump plumbed to the 150G vertical tank tank with the pipe feeding back to the top to mix the SW and a heater in it. I add 3 bags of Reef Crystals, and put it back online 24h later. Water changes take me a total of 5 min spread over 24h. I also like the added water volume it gives my system which adds to stability. The biggest advantage is that I have 150G of ready, identical chemistry/temp water any time I need it. Spillage disaster: This tank comes off line, I have some flex tubing Y'd off the external pump which I place into the sump and fill it back up. Turns a spill into an unorthodox water change. I really love this system.

I want more pics, I'm kind of a visual learner. Dr. Suess is my favorite!

Getting a bit jealous here.

Mine involves a lot of 5 gallon containers to hold the RO/DI water and a 5 gallon bucket for mixing up salt water.

Here is my fancy way of making RO/DI water (( my laundry room is very small and doesn't have a laundry sink )) -- in the kitchen when I need it. :)

There is a tiny little closet behind this tank (( and under the stairs )) that I keep the 5 gallon containers and 5 gallon mixing bucket.

Hi... I know this thread is a little old, but could you tell me where you got the containers at the bottom of the picture ? How many gallons does each one hold ? I see you have 3.
I'm trying to set up an RO/DI System, and I'm trying to find some containers.

Those look like the 35 gallon "leg tanks" that they sell at tractor supply (I have two of them)

Yes sir! Thanks Rick.45cal! Sorry about the late reply.

They are $79.99/ea at Tractor Supply Company, if I remember correctly. Just bought 2 more.
