Water overflow different heights on target

Is it physically possible to make a water bridge with different height target. I have a tank that I dont want to drill, and it will be filled from a pump (the aquarium on the left) the tank and water is a bit higher than the target, so the water have to go down, then up, then down. Is this possible with any design?

This is how I solved it. Used an overflow box inside the sump to make sure the water level is the same regardless of sump water height.
