Water overflowing second compartment on 32 Gallon biocube

Is the water supposed to fill up and overflow the divider into the pump section.? You would think that the water would flow through the filter to keep the aquarium cleaner and stay at the filter height.

No it is not supposed to. The foam filter in chamber 3 might be clogged. I’ve had a 32 gal bio cube for over a year.

Crreef reef is correct. MIne did that and the sponge was clogged.

No. Sponge at the bottom is probably plugged. I removed mine and put som eggcrate on top of the media rack and put a piece of filter pad on top. Easy to change once a week or whenever u want.
