Hello guys.
I have 10g cube, my current water parameter
ph 7.6 -7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Calcium 440
Magnesium 1260
Alkalinity 9.6
All corals and fish are seems happy. My questions are how I bring my PH level and magnesium level up to maximize corals grow? My tank ph always been on that level since first time I set up the tank. I am thinking to use Kalkwasser on my ATO but does Kalkwasser will help to increase my magnesium level as well? I know that Kalkwasser will help to increase my PH, alk, and cal level. I lost about 200 ml a day or less than half a gallon of water due to evaporation every week.
thank you

Generic Kalkwasser won't raise your magnesium. I'm not familiar with the product Bubby mentioned.

Magnesium is very easy to adjust. BRS sells a "general adjustment mix" that you simply shake up in a milk jug. Probably 3-4 ounces will boost u up.

That is a pretty low ph. Cubes have less surface area relative to volume than many other types of tanks. Less chance for air exchange. Angling your powerheads towards the surface, or raising your return pipe a bit so it splashes should both help. Ovbviously, you've heard about fresh air and windows. If you have glass tops, consider mesh instead.

I use kalk also and it does boost ph .1-.2, but that's not its primary purpose. If your tank isn't demanding the amount of alkalinity and calcium that replacing your top off water with fully saturated kalk delivers, you'll just end up redlining your calcium and alkalinity.
