Annnnnnnd lets hear from everyone at how bad I am doing.

Mixed reef tank:
7/1/20
Calcium 480 ppm
Phosphate .5ppm
Nitrate 50-75ppm
Alkalinity 11.8dKh
Magnesium 1500ppm

I just began testing my tank based on one of my other threads because there wasn't enough information for him to help me. TBH I was just getting my salinity right at 1.025 making sure it was the right temperature and then swapping 20% every week... upon further investigation I now have numbers that mean things. I have been running tap water with a dechlorinating agent and I have been doing my research on a reasonable RODI unit (Suggestions are welcome). So, the only thing I have been fighting is an algae bloom, and slow coral growth.

So... what do I do now fellow reefers?

RO/DI is a very wise choice! If I had to do it over again, I would get a six stage unit. I got a five stage and added another chamber much later.
