Hey guys I have a question about my water parameters, mainly because my calcium is low and always has been since I got my kit for it. As it seems, everything is good besides that and it has been good ever since my cycle finished 6-7 weeks ago.
I have a 90 gallon FOWLR tank with around 10 nerites, ceriths, and blue hermits. 1 Yellow-fin flasher wrasse, 1 smiths blenny, and 5 blue/green chromis.
Around 100 lbs of live rock and a 1-2 inch sand bed depending on where i measure it at.
I use instant ocean sea salt.
Everyone seems healthy and happy and I have not had issues with algae yet.
My parameters are:
Salinity/SG: 30/slightly over 1.022
PH: 8
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 10
Phosphate: <0.5
Alkalinity: 11
Calcium: 285
Magnesium: 1200
Wanted to mention it again that all of these have been consistent for weeks, besides nitrates of course, but I do water changes around every 10 days.
I suppose they all aren't perfect, but everything is in the acceptable range according to liveaquaria, besides the Ca. I guess the PH is a little low too, but it always has been and I've been told that isn't a big deal as long as it's consistent.
Will this be okay as long as it is consistent?
Should I get something to raise my calcium levels?
What should I do in this situation?
