Hi reefers :
Its tge only thing i wish to understand it in my tank , i hope tgat we can figure out solution to stabilise it .
I start stocking my tank with sps it was reef mix lps and softies , i start dosing using ESV b-ionic liquid, mg and kh .
Ca and mg keep stable at 1350 and 440 dosing daily 10 ml
Kh was not stable till i reach dose 25 ml and kh was at 8.4 ~9.00
I feel there is something wrong wuth sps when the tips start to burn and bleach .and by dosing 10 ml for xa and mg daily.
Then i stop dosing and i do 20 % from water of my 500 liters tank+sump.
Next day i test and here is my result for 3 days
31-3-2015
Ca :430
Mg:1350
Kh:9.3
1-4-2015
Ca :430
Mg:1350
Kh :8.6
2-4-2015
Ca :430
Mg:1350
Kh: 8.4
3-4-2015
Ca :430
Mg:1320
Kh:8.1

Can some one tell me how i fix my dosing amount ? And what daily dose i have to follow

Trial and error us the best way to set the dose.

For now, stick to equal parts dosing and dose enough to stabilize alkalinity where you want it.

Hi Randy thx for ur drop , so had conversation before ralking about dosing , and u told me not necessary to dose mg every day .
So is it possible to dose only ca and kh ?
Cause in my question i forgot to say that mg keep droping while im dosing before it drop from 1380 to 1300!!! While im dosing 10 ml mg daily

Yes, many folks need to only dose alkalinity, or alkalinity and calcium, because their salt mixes have so much extra calcium and magnesium to begin with. :)

Unless that magnesium drop was over many months, it is testing error, or water changes with a low magneisum mix. IT doesn't typically deplete more than 1 ppm per day. Maybe 2 ppm per day in a very heavy SPS tank with tons of calcium required (about 10x the magnesium drop).

Thx Randy again .i done testing now and here the reading :
Ca:420
Mg:1320
Kh: 8
So i will run the dosing pump now and will start dosing again.
Can u help me to figure out how much ML needs for ca and kh to keep it stable on 430 and kh im satsisfied to be max 8.5

Im using b-ionic liquid from ESV and i try marine depot calculator its give me unlogic result for Ca

Calculators can only tell you how to get from point a to point b, not how to stay at point a.

I would start at 0.5 dKH per day (based on the calculator) and see what happens. :)
