Hey all I have a quick question on my water parameters. What method would be best to bring my Phosphate down some without get into the dino range. Im having hopefully a diatom outbreak from all the rock blasting and water changes over the past week to try and get Phosphate down.

Salinity. 1.025
Nitrate. 1 ppm
Phosphate. .1 ppm
Ph. 8.15
Calcium. 430
Alk. 9.3
Mag. 1380

I think I would use an phosphate absorbent media like Brightwells Xport po4. You could just use it little by little so that you have more control over how much phosphate you are removing.

I have some gfo and reactor on the way do you think that is a reliable way to get it under control

i just figured out that gfo is basically what u recommended sorry lol
