Water parameters

So I've been cycling my tank since the 8th today these are my readings the colors are so close does it look like I have 0, 5 or 10 nitrates it looks like 10 to me my ammonia is somewhere between 0 and 0.25 to me and my nitrite is between 2 and 5.0 what do you guys think? Cycling using the shrimp method

I think you are supposed to hold the tube against the chart in between the rows with the white behind it, which you may be doing but I would get a better test kit. Salifert and nyos are great.

thanks i tried i still couldnt really tell 100% lol ive used those salifert tests in the past when my lfs didnt have api but over the 14 years ive been in the hobby ive always used api never had any issues with it

Yeah, I definately started out using api, I'll never go back lol. The longer I would stare at the colors, the more i couldnt tell for sure . I would ask my wife what color it looked like and she would pick something way off from what i thought.
