Recently I got the saliftert test kit.
It comes with
Calcium
Phosphate
Magnesium
Ammonia
Nitrates
Ph
Alkalinity
What should the numbers be.

You might need that one as well. I only have Ammonia, Nitrites and Nitrates myself but that's because I dont have corals.

Ammonia should be 0.
Nitrites should be as close to 0 as possible.
Nitrates increase over time and I do water changes at 10ppm. Salifert test reads 10ppm as 100 on their cards.

I only test nitrite and ammonia until the cycle is complete.

Fish only
Temp 78-79
Salinity 1.023
Nitrates, less than 50ppm
Phosphates, less than .5
Low nutrients in Fish Only not as important.

Mixed reef
Temp same as above
Salinity 1.026
Nitrates 2-10 ppm
Phosphate 0.03. -0.15
Mag 1260-1360
CA 420-450
Alk 8-9

With corals, We want to get to a point whereas these parameters are very stable, the less daily flux the better
