Used salifert kits for these results, no expert at this so readings/test could be off?

Salinity-7.5-7.7
Calcium-310
Nitrate-5-10
Phosphate-0

Again, first time using kits. Also, tank 4 months old. Little algae bloom going on now as you see it pics

Salinity is usually in ppt (34-36) or gravity (1.022-1.026), so maybe just double-check that one.

I think the first test is Alkalinity.
How are you measuring Salinity (Refractometer?) and what is it?
The Calcium may be low depending on the Salinity.

The two most important tests to start with are Salinity and Alkalinity

You're right, it's alkalinity. Not sure why I wrote Salinity

Well, the Ca and Alk level is dependent on the salinity.

If your Salinity (s.g) is 1.026 then your Ca is a little low.
Which salt are you using?
