Water pressure too low for RODI

I have hooked my RODI unit up under the kitchen sink, bathroom, and split off my washer's cold source. I am not getting enough pressure. It takes a minimum of 2 hours, usually longer, to fill a 5g bucket. Before I moved to Knoxville, I could fill a bucket in 35 minutes. I got the unit from purewaterclub.com. Any suggestions?

You could look into a booster pump. It's the only way I know to boost the pressure for your rodi.

You probably need a booster pump. I would suggest having one as lower pressure will burn out your filters and di resin faster. Something like this is probably your best bet.

I was on the same boat. I bought the booster from BRS. It works great, you can adjust it to get the right pressure. I run mine at 70 PSI

Thanx guys. With Xmas coming up, I won't be "allowed" to spend the money for that ATM. I guess I'll keep getting water from Coral Reef and/or distilled from Walmart. It's on my list now though.

I bought an adapter that fit my garden hose and just use that.

I'm not sure. I don't have a gauge to test it, so haven't tested it yet.

Hmm. The two tools you need to run these systems are a pressure gauge and a TDS meter. If you get a pump - you'll also need a liquid filled pressure gauge. Might as well get an add on kit now.

Another thing that can affect you is how high your house regulatory is set at.
