So im installing a basement sump in my parents tank. Display is a 55gal tank, sump will most likely be another 55gal or possibly a 40 breeder. I need a pump to pump the water up the diaplay. Head height is roughly 10ft. Any ideas on a decent pump thats not gonna break the bank?

They're great, they are break off version if iwaki, which are a but nicer, but essentially the same design I believe. Just make sure to have true union ball valves before and after the pump (good ones from brs or similar). You will need those to clean the impeller eventually. I use mine as a water mixing pump also, and the impeller seized due to calcium precipitation, took it off, soaked in vinegar and it was back in action. No fault of the pump, any high pressure pump will have cavitation which will precipitate supersaturated minerals (which saltwater is, and especially so when mixing it up). Also make sure to get a check valve so when the pump turns off it doesn't back siphon.
