I have a 60 gallon tank. I always use a cup or glass to do water changes when filling it. I am currently looking for a water pump that will allow me to just throw it in the bucket or external and turn it on and fill the tank when doing WC. the height it will be pumping is 55 inches from the floor maybe half of that if I put the bucket on a chair then turn it on. the stand is 30" tall and another 25 inches for the tanks height. so 55 inches. I need something powerfull enough to pump it in there so I don't have to continue to fill it the hard long consuming way. I thought about just lifting the bucket and pouring it in the tank but I don't want to do that and disturb the substrate to much and cause any i'll small cycle and etc.

Not exactly cheap, but when I was doing the same thing I used a Cobalt MJ1200. Fits 1/2"vinyl tubing perfectly.

Model, Watt, Max Flow (gph/lph), Max Height (in / m)
MJ1200, 20, 295 (1100), 69" (1.74m)
