Hi all, I was hoping people could recommend to me what the use for water changes? recently my old siphon broke and I need a replacement, but I can't decide on what to get. I have a IM 30 gallon long with a 3 inch sandbed.

Thanks in advance!

get a python or a small pump and some silicone hose

1/2" tubing.

I used to use a bulb siphon and a check siphon but the open 1/2" tubing has much more flow and easily attaches to maxi jet pumps for easy cleaning in the sump.

Start the siphon the old fashioned way.
Never have to taste saltwater if you do it right lol.
One little quick inhale and my siphon starts :)

I've been doing that for the past month, I haven't tasted salt water once haha. I do vacuum my sandbed, and using such a small tube sucks the sand out of my tank (no bueno). thanks for the advice tho!
