Station (55g of RO) is in the basement, tank(140g) is one floor up and across the house.

I was planning to run pvc and pop through the floor near the tank.

My typical 10% water changes will be 14 gallons.

Most water change stations I see have both RO and mixing next to eachother. Since I am only mixing 14 gallons, in my mind I was just going to run an RO line up to tank and mix in a 20g container at point of use. I was gonna have a hose attached so i can fill ATO or buckets as needed. With the distance involved i was worried about saltwater just sitting in the line and seemed wasteful and time consuming to flush the line out.

As this is my first tank, am I missing or losing out on anything obvious by doing it this way versus piping both a ro and saltwater line that I assume I'll have to flush each use? I don't know the benefit of having a large mixing station if most cases I only need 14 gallons and if I do need to mix more(I'm assuming rarely once running) I'll have multiple smaller containers to mix in.

If you design it with a shut off valve then shouldn't have to worry about SW in line. refer to valve #2. Also, can design mixing station using smaller containers vs 55 gal container if you believe its too large

Saltwater ready to go is always good thing to have on hand. If you need saltwater because of an emergency fresh saltwater takes time to stabilize, depending on the salt mix it can be a few to several hours. I would check the instructions on the salt brand you are going to use.
