So i set up my bc29 about 48hours ago and my water is still a bit cloudy.... I used the Cariebsea fiji pink sand with Caribsea Reef Life rock... but the water isn't fully clear yet.. Normal or what?

Did you rinse the sand? If not, I would give it a couple more days.:)

You don't need to rinse live sand. just wait it out or you can add some filter floss to the back chamber.

yeah i have filter floss running on in my chambers for the cycle. All i wanted to know if this is normal or if something went wrong haha

I used live sand and it literally took a week for the cloud to settle.

I went through this recently with my first new tank and it took a solid 3-4 days for it to totally clear...

Just wait longer. it took me almost 4 days for mine to clear. It all depends on the size of the sand grains you use.

Also, try to minimize your flow. I have that sand in my 10g nano, and I think it is was too fine for my tank. It took a few months of water changes to get the finest particles out of the tank before it really cleared up.
