Hello, yes many people transport RODI (or saltwater) in containers like those. Many LFSs sell RO water and some will sell salt (and some that sell saltwater mixed do have consistency problems, so be mindful of testing your salinity even if you aren't the one mixing your saltwater. If you use those types of containers, and IF you have both RO & salt needs, then label your containers so you don't cross contaminate your RO with salt.

I’ve used that exact same product for freshwater storage for many years. Had two of them, but I keep them in my kitchen and I dropped a pizza upside down on top of one of them when the top was off. Some pepperoni and other toppings fell inside and I didn’t think it was worth it to try and clean it out. Tough to clean them out. Easy to pour into my ato container. Yes. I ate the pizza.LOL
