HI there,
Im setting up my water storage/mixing tank area.
The tank i got are 25g and the drain outlet say 3/4".

So i bought 2 3/4in male threaded to 1in pvc slip.
The 3/4 will not fit the drain outlet though, its a hair too big.

Any one else experience this?
What is best fitting for this type tank to go to 1in slip pvc?
Thanks in advance!

Metric maybe? I would call where you got them and verify the size. You may have got ones with the wrong bung installed.

Thanks for the replies!
I just noticed the fitting i got are MIPT not NPT, I think that was the problem.
Just ordered the correct fittings.
Cheers

That's not going to be it. MPT and MIPT are the same Male (Iron) Pipe Thread. Definitions (from google):
The most widely used pipe threads in North America are NPT (National Pipe Taper). Some confusion may result from the use of NPT, FPT, and MPT in describing threads. Both FPT and MPT are NPT threads, with FPT meaning female threads (internal) and MPT meaning male threads (external).

What's the make and model of the storage container? I suggest contacting the company to determine what the threading is on the bulkhead.
