WATER STORAGE QUESTION?

Can I use a regular plastic garbage can to store salt water? Some have told me the plastic is a bad idea?

Some have said a hard plastic rain barrel?

My local farm store has steel barrels? would that work?

Not steel. Most you will see store in Grey rubber made trash cans like you see in food service. This is were I purchased my tank for my ATO http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=22810&catid=835

Hey Stew18! Yup just be sure that it's new one and you clean it from wax. Use a lot of water for cleaning and then yes make it!

Brute trash cans sold at Lowes and Home Depot work well for storing RODI water or salt water. Whatever you get, try to get a food grade container.
