Water storage tank for ATO

I am looking for where I can get Polyethylene water storage tanks locally other than tractor supply. I found out that shipping is over twice the cost of the tank itself.

I do not have a problem with tractor supply. What they have is mostly leg style and I am looking for something vertical and less than 18 inches in diameter.

HDLP FOOD GRADE. Search google. Used is okay just clean with vinegar before use.

Thanks. I was trying to avoid buying online because the shipping cost is sometimes twice the amount of the water tank.

You can find all different sizes, i have a 21,16 and 10 gallon. Cut a hole in the top to place pump in tank. Put a 1/2" pvc pipe down the hole on the pretruding piece to attach your float switch and your good to go.

Yea craigslist is loaded with people that have food grade barrels for cheap.

That place in Lincoln was cheap for a 15 gal container.i think it was like $15. I cut top off mine just a little. So it's now 13 gal and sits in a wicker trash basket. So doesn't look too bad sitting on side of tank in my Living room.

Thanks for telling me about that place in Lincoln. I have heard about them a while back, but I thought you could only get the large 275 and 330 gallon ones there. Will give them a call

Ya worked perfect for me. Darn near tripled my top off water capacity

There is also a place around the mount olive exit north on 65. They have good deals there.
