probably gonna get the 25g one by two.

What storage are you using.. i'm looking for a vertical tank with translucent white with gallon markers do you know where i can get a better price/tank with my requirements
also pics/tips of your setup will help greatly..

I'm also researching how i can tap my water heater for a supply source..

Kevan if you order one let me know like to get a 50 or 65g one. Maybe can do a group buy.
But look at it closer it look like it will be hard to clean.

Right now I'm using a brut can from lowes.

i've checked craigslist and the ones they have a too big..

Zef the reason i'm going with the 25 is the size of the opening.. the bigger ones have a small cover..

I use these - probably pretty similar to what you are looking at, but nice in that they come prefitted with the bulkheads. They're available from our local ranch supply place here, but from what others have said, pretty expensive to order via internet.

You might try U.S. Plastics, I know the advertise on some of the reef forums and have a good selection. Around here many people use the blue plastic drums like food products come in, they have several sizes available very reasonable.

The larger opening would be beneficial as was pointed out so you can get your hand in there to install high and low float switches and bulkheads or uniseals.
