So I usually start early on Sundays monopolizing the kitchen table with test kits, water samples and coffee. Being a good reefer I try to be thorough about testing. Doing so makes me feel like a little scientists as well, particularly when using some of the RedSea gear. A while back I scored a RedSea Colors test kit as I was testing the effect of elevated potassium levels on some of my chalice. I had yet to break it out as I was using a salfert and had several tests left. Today I decided to do so and instantly regretted it. Too many moving part! One weird result after another. So of course I'm going to have to do it all again but not now. Grrrrrrr..... Point of the post? Sunday morning might be more relaxing going to the early service and napping or fishing afterwards. I'm going fishing now.
