My water levels as fillows: FCI - 0 , TCI - 0 , ALK - 180 , PH - 8.4 , TH - 600+ , CyA - 40
Does this seem right

The only one that I know is PH and that looks right. Alk at 180 deff not right. The others I have never heard of. What FCI and TCI?

fci is free chlorine , tci is total chlorine, th is total hardness and cya is cyanuric acid ....... this is the test I get in south adrica

Chlorine is meaningless in a marine environment and should always measure 0. (salt container dechlor).

Total hardness is meaningless as specific gravity determines that.

looks like you got a FW test kit.

We tend to think of ammonia, nitrItes, nitrAtes, calcium, alk (KH), magnesium, and pH as our most common stuff.

What you need to test is
Ammonia
Nitrites
Nitrates
SG
PH
Phosphates
Calcium
Alkalinity
Magnesium
