Water testing my AJ 150g today.

After a long two years of collecting everything for my tank a am water testing the set up. The question I have is, after I fill the tank with ro/di water and check for leaks and proper equipment function can I mix the salt right in the refugium. If I could do that it would save me from pumping the water back to the brute cans to mix. The only thing that would make it difficult is the addition of sand after the water in in the tank. Yes, you can just add the salt directly to the tank, turn on your return pump and wavemakers and let 'er rip.

On first fill only yes you can add the salt directly to the tank. It's also a good idea to heat the water to your desired running temp first. This will help the salt desolve better. Afterward you need to to mix the salt with water before adding to the tank.
