The biocube has been up for 6 or so months.

The pH has been relatively stable. There is a dip that probably was how I did the test.

Salinity has been relatively stable. Had a hiccup where it shot to 44 (was my error in making water, pre-corals) but for the most part been around 1.025. From now on will be recording with the 2 digit number. Easier to read on the charts and see fluctuation.

Alkalinity was something I was told to keep in place. If this is in place then the other things would be in place. Maintaining 9-11 dKh.

Nitrates is something that I continue to battle. I have been able to keep them stable at 10ppm for the most part. Hoping the filtration upgrades I have planned help, in the terms of an aquamaxx HOB-1 and the InTank media rack running floss, purigen, carbon hanging, and chemipure on the bottom will help. Not sure there is anything to worry about with fish, softies and some lps though.

Calcium tests began relatively recently but have been able to maintain a good range to date. The outlier of 500 was most definitely the error of the person doing the test.

Magnesium, for some reason I cannot get any lower. Once it was under 1450, and I am sure it was my mistake during the test. On average it's 1550, but usually 1600+. Maybe has something to do with Red Sea coral pro salt. I don't know.

Thoughts: got back from vacation 8/9. Had algae bad in the tank. Switched to RSCP. Algae went away. Levels remaining consistent and proper (at least in my eyes). I was doing weekly 5g changes after doing 2 5g changes for a few weeks after vacation. Now, I do 2.5 gallon changes weekly in the 29 biocube. (About 10%). The corals are doing great, the zoanthid are growing like a weed and the torch appears to be most happy when I turn off the power head (I can't find anywhere to put it where this coral doesn't close up tight). Turn off the powerhead and just use the return flow and it opens way up.

Biggest want is to get the nitrates down to 5. Hoping the filtration upgrade will help.

Didn't post the PO4 because I have not gotten a reading of more than 0 since 2 weeks after vacation.

Just water changes. No need to supplement at this time...I don't think

Sounds good.

Assuming you add none with your top off water, as long as the alkalinity is OK (and yours is), then calcium and magnesium will basically be what came in the salt mix since they only way for them to change is by formation of calcium and magnesium carbonate, which uses a lot of alkalinity. :)
