Hello,
I’m fairly new to the hobby, i’ve been doing it all of 6 months, I would just like to know when to test the water, at the moment i’m doing it just before I change the water, which is every Wednesday. I was just wondering if I should test it after a change or multiple times per week.
Any tips would be great.

Welcome to R2R. All tanks are different and may require more testing or less frequent testing. depends on what’s in your tank. People will test more if SPS dominant and maybe not as much if LPS and softies. Alkalinity is considered the most important to test by many and can probably be done twice a week or more frequently if you are dialing in parameters. Everything else maybe once a week. Once your tank matures and becomes stable, you may not need to test as often. Also, I would test in between water changes. Not right before or right after unless you are tracking something.
