Water top off

Hey y’all i urgently need to top of RO water in my tank becuase the level is getting below the min line. All fish stores near me are closed today and I urgently need fresh water to lower salinity. Any thoughts on water I could get away with using for this one time. Please help within the next hour or so I will need to shut the filter off so I don’t burn the motor.

Gallons of distilled water will be totally fine... I'd use tap water before I shut my pumps down

Doesn’t tap water increase chances of contamination from metals
Or chlorine

If your pump is adjustable, reducing the flow may raise the water level in the return chamber (assuming you have one) and buy you some time.
