About 9 hours ago. My water started losing visibility with small particulate in the water, just in case since my carbon has been in for about 7 weeks, i went ahead and changed it out. Now this last 3 hours, I see the water turning a blueish green. Though visibility has increased.

I am also for the first time seeing copepods all over the class, i started eith tisbe pods 5 weeks ago, and added apocalypse pods 5 days ago. I've been checking to see if I can see any for quite a while now, and this last couple hours is the first sitings, and there are a lot of them. I also put in 15 to 20ml of phytoplankton every 2 days, i would not expect phyto to do so well my tank becomes a phyto culture. Coraline algae is taking off too, actually had to put in a little calc and alk last week.

Is the water color changing indicative of anything? Some sort of algae that lives in the water column? I started scraping the glass and realized the color is the actual water.

It definitely appears to be phyto bloom, its not getting much worse yet, i think the pods are winning the war.

I should just let this play out is my guess.

Let me know your thoughts.
