Hey guys Ive been wondering what this is on the top of my water do I not have enough waves? Or is somthing I should try and skim out? Any help would be great thanks! If the picture is not clear enough I could try and take another I'm talking about the small white stuff floating on the water

Looks like surface film algae. Might want to get a bit more agitation on the surface. I'm not 100% sure but thats what I think
 
Yep. It may not even be algae so much as dissolved organics that are collecting on the surface. If you are using an overflow, just get your flow pumps to agitate the surface and it should go away. If you're not using an overflow, you need to figure out a way to skim the water from the surface of the tank and feed it to your skimmer.
 
That's a better picture all those small white particles would I need to water change and try and suck the water out from the very top removing it? I'm not sure it's just ugly not sure how you tubers have completely clear water
