Anyone use primo water for their reef tank? Just wondering because im taking to find water for my tank im about to setup in a few days. And i dont really have a place to setup a RO system

You mean Seachem Prime? Works fine as a decholrinator but you need an RO DI system for other stuff in the tap water.

You can probably get away with tap water for a fish only system but Rodi best for corals.

It's junk at least from the Walmart in my town. Picked up a jug of their "8 stage RO" water tested with TDS meter......shocked the # came back at 56! Worse than my tap water! Tested walmart distilled came back a 6

This, I believe "primo" is only reverse osmosis, so it'll remove 9X% of charged particles, but 91% effective with a TDS of 500 still leaves a lot of crap in the water.

OP - if you dont have an LFS near you that will sell you either RODI water or RODI premixed saltwater then check into buying distilled water.
