Has anyone removed the sock bracket on your waterbox 10 or 20 for the inTank media basket?
I am not sure what the best method is to remove that- using an utility knife doesn't seem to be making any headway on it.

Tank is up and running so I am doing this through the water.

Thanks!

Use a razor blade and slice down through the silicon. They come off easily doing it this way. Removed them on my 15 and 40.2.

This and a combination of LIGHT rocking of the bracket LIGHT

I cannot for the life of me get these off. Could you maybe elaborate a little more? I've taken an x-acto knife and a razor blade to it. I got a little bit of the silicon off but its still stuck on there.

Did you ever figure it out?

Been a long time, but try to get the blade down through the silicon between the tank and bracket.
