Has anyone removed the divider which is about 14 inches off the side wall in the stand. Purchased a Bashsea sump which is about 36 inches wide to accommodate that I would have to move the divider. Wonder if anyone has ever removed it and if additional support was needed.

I believe it provides support for the tank. Removing it might have a undesirable

If you get a blacksmith to build an H support section from 50mmhollow box section and secure to the stand sides this will take the weight. As long as it’s installed hard to the underside of the cabinet you will be fine.
I did this with an evolution Shi’a 900mm tank without any issues

I removed the divider I was thinking a leg out front and maybe add a T support on the top along both axis.

You can ask waterbox about it.i did that with the 130.4 and they let me know it could be moved a bit but not removed

@kkegley21 I was just wondering how this worked out for you. Did you ever add that brace? Any issue with the tank?

I would highly suggest some sort of metal brace or support, the stand will likely start sagging over time
