I have been through EVERY single possible mistake in this hobby. But check this out, I made it. My newest mistake: underestimating how much space 1 acro frag needs.

They’re still babies, but every day they look like they grow a bit more. I have so many zoas that I cannot frag them fast enough. I have so much store credit and so many local hobbyist trades it’s kind of out of hand.

Details:

Zero water changes
800w reefbrite halides with 4 blue led strips
Two prime AIs for supplement

Reef moonshiners
ICP tests every 4-6 months
Nopox daily
Kalkwasser and Aquaforest for dosing
Reef octopus 220 int skimmer
No filter socks no pads

Alk 6-7
Mag - 1260
Calcium - 430
Nitrates - 0
Po4 - .15
Sg 1.027

Flow:

Two mp60s
Two OP4s

Par:

200-300 in the bottom corners
800 at the top
400-600 middle

I feed 2-3x a day, heavily, rods or LRS or mixed.

Thanks for ALL of the help from everyone here that contributed to my posts.

Wow. Zero water changes? Tank looks amazing.
To clarify - I do a ten gallon water change every 6 months to vacuum the sand. That’s it, I don’t mess with weekly changes of 20% none of that. I’m good on all that lol

Beautiful tank! I was looking into getting the waterbox infinia reef 230.6 system. I believe this tank is basically the same thing? I was wondering I saw some posts about the overflow being very loud due to water rushing over the weir combs. Do you have that issue? If you did how did u fix that issue? If not is it actually that loud or people overreacting? Love their systems they look great, but hope that the water noise isnt heard across the house lol.

Tank looks good....but why without water change ?
my reef is 2 years old , and since day 1 I'm doing 10% water change, every week.
Corals love it !

Awesome tank set up! I'm looking into getting the same tank. What return pump did you get for your sump?
Thanks!

Amazing tank, did you eventually stop fragging the acros or do you always have to frag? I’m asking because I’m tired of the frag racks in the tank :p

New pics, crazy how they grow

Didn’t see this until now. I don’t have the sound issues - to me it’s a normal water is moving sound but nothing that I consider very loud. I can adjust it to be completely silent too but I like how I have it.

No problem. Wow ur tank is looking amazing! I decided to go with the reef lx 290.6 model. Hoping to see it on sale during the Blue Friday sale waterbox does.

I can't stop frag and trim the colonies...if I do so they will sting and kill each other.
Right now they tripled they size so it is really hard work every water change

Very healthy and thriving tank, and it shows. Don’t change your formula.
