I recently ordered a Waterbox 220.6, which will be here in a few months from what I have read. Currently have a Biocube 32 which will turn into a quarantine tank.

Looking for some input on equipment:

Tank/Sump: Waterbox 220.6
Lighting: 2 Ecotech Radion XR15 Pro and 1 Ecotech Radion XR15 Blue
Return: Echtech Vectra L2 DC
ATO: Tunze 3155
RO/DI: Marine Depot 4-Stage Advanced-100GPH
Protein Skimmer: Aquamaxx Cones Q-2
Powerheads: 2 Ecotech Marine MP40WQD
Dosing Pumps: Kamoer X1 X2

Question:
UV light or Algae Scrubber?

Anything I have missed as a start up?

Planning on sps? Might want to go with the 30s. I was lucky to find my 130.4 in stock at a retailer. Just received it today and I’m doing 2 XR30s and 1 XR15 (maybe).
I decided on UV from what I’ve read, but just like politics, everyone has a side and favorite.
I’ll be following along to see how it’s coming along :) welcome to R2R

I'm trying to get my feet wet before jumping into the deep end with SPS. I do plan on adding another XR15 later down the line once I get the tank running with no major issues. Thank you for your input with the UV light. Do you have one you like?

I do not have one installed yet as I am just starting my build. Feel free to follow along and we can learn together LOL

Not a bad list, exxy but not bad. Equipment is pretty subjective and really depends on exactly what it is you want to run in your display, budget and personal preferences.
I am not in the USA, and alot of feedback from reefers here in Australia are none too pleased with support from Ecotech, we are too small for them to care about, where as in the USA customer support is pretty good from what i read.
Get yourself some good heaters maybe Schego titanium and a temp controller
You may want to look at Reef Octopus Octopulse 4 for intank circulation, then throw the extra dollars into something else, maybe a gyre or two at the bottom of your rear panel for flushing the liverock or maybe upgrade your return pump to R/E RD3 100W flow series if you run a manifold later, or R/E skimmer, or go for a Lifegard 90w Pro max 3 inch UV, but again these are not must haves just options and my opinion, everyone has one.
Something i am considering is plumbing my UV return separately from the sump return positioning the plumbing so that the outlet is a series of small holes drilled in pvc then resting the live rock on top of the pvc and utilise the return uv flow for flushing, but its another set of plumbing coming over the glass unless you drill the display base for that purpose.
Sounds like you are well on your way and as far as equipment goes you are on the right track. Equipment is only part of a reef eco system though, the best equipment in the world will not help us if our husbandry is useless.
Best of luck with your build, look forward to seeing your progress.

Regards
B.
