Waterbox 25 dialing in flow

I am trying to dial in the flow on my waterbox 25 but it seems like the intake pump nozzle is destined to not be cooperative. I have a wave maker on the opposite side that blows against it but I just can’t seem to get a good flow. How do you have your flows set up?

I have attached a picture to give you a better idea. Not sure if I add another wavemaker somewhere to try to break it up more??

my hammers in the bottom left of the picture are getting too much flow I think
